The course will be in the 1st-floor auditorium as soon as you enter the building.

Parking will be available in the parking garage attached to the building, and participants' parking will be free that day. The review course will cover essential topics pertinent to the CCRN and PCCN exams, including but not limited to cardiovascular, pulmonary, neurology, and renal systems.

Speaker Bio: Dr. Alex Klacman is a national presenter for Med-Ed Seminars, where she teaches multiple cardiac courses, as well as CCRN and Cardiac-Vascular RN Certification Review Courses. She has presented at local, state, national, and international conferences. She has been a reviewer for AACN’s Essentials of Critical Care Orientation (ECCO) modules related to pulmonary and cardiac disorders. Alex obtained her research doctorate in nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA), where she studied outcomes from the RQI™ Program. Her research interests focus on CPR skill quality in morbidly obese patients. She has been honored as a Great 100 Nurse of DFW and as a D Magazine Excellence in Nursing Award winner.

Alex Klacman Ph.D, MSN-Ed, CV-BC, CCRN

Associate Professor at Texas Women's University

Critical care and resuscitation education are my major focuses. Collaborated with the American Heart Association to be the leader for the first hospital in the world to implement the Resuscitation Quality Improvement Program. Currently function as critical care/trauma clinical education specialist at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas. I am also adjunct faculty for Western Governors University in the simulation lab and am a national speaker for Med-Ed Seminars on topics related to critical care and progressive care.
