At Meadows we understand that new directions to career advancing and improvement can be scary, but we are excited to offer you a possible new rewarding chapter with us! Come join us in transforming lives!
Registered Nurse
Nursing in today’s landscape is hectic sometimes, and we know there is an increased demand for nurses on a global scale. Up to 50+ hours a week can be draining, which is why we will only ask for 40 (unless you want to pick up more shifts). Being a 24/7 operation, it is necessary to sometimes cover for vacations of others and holidays but even with the good and bad days, it's the people who make it all worth it.
At Meadows Behavioral Healthcare, you won't be working with body fluids or be bedside, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to support the patients' progress into the best versions of themselves. You'll be someone they and their loved ones trust to support them through their treatment journey. Nurses are also responsible for accurate medication preparation, distribution, precise documentation and education of medications if needed. with the Meadows are living their mission and building careers with a team that shares our values: respect, integrity, trust, teamwork, quality, and innovation.
The Meadows will take care of you, too, with benefits that include health/dental/vision, retirement plans, PTO, sick leave, and a wellness reimbursement.
To be successful in this role, you should have previous nursing experience, which includes:
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required.
Minimum of one-year psychiatric experience strongly preferred but not required since we will train.
You have a desire to help patients and feel fulfillment in being a part of their journey to wellness.
All you need to apply now is good standing within the state posted, a clean driving record, and an active RN License.
(Big hearts are also required.)
Meadows Behavioral Healthcare is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer. We strongly encourage applications from those who identify as diverse in terms of gender, race, ethnicity, national origin, disability, and/or veteran status.
We are a Drug Free Company. All positions are designated as “Safety Sensitive” positions and in light of our company mission, the Company does not employ medical marijuana cardholders. Following an offer of employment, and prior to reporting to work, all applicants will be required to submit to and pass a substance abuse screen.
The Meadows is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Qualified candidates will receive consideration without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, national origin, disability, protected veteran status or any other factor protected by applicable federal, state or local laws.
